How to Request Deletion

Send a deletion request to info@ubiami.io from the email address associated with your account. Include your account email address and your organization name so we can identify the correct account.

We confirm every request with the account holder before anything is deleted. This protects you from someone else requesting the removal of your data.

What Is Deleted

A confirmed deletion request removes your account and user profile, your organization's profile information, media you have uploaded or generated in the Service, your publishing history, and the identifiers and access tokens of any social media channels you connected.

How Long It Takes

Data is deleted within 30 days of a confirmed request. Copies held in routine backups are removed as those backups expire, which may take longer. We do not restore deleted data from backups.

Where the law requires us to keep certain records — for example billing records for accounting purposes — we retain only what is required, for only as long as it is required.

Disconnecting a Channel Yourself

You can disconnect any connected social media channel in the Service at any time, without deleting your account. Disconnecting removes that channel's access tokens and its connection to Ubiami, so we can no longer read from it or publish to it.

Disconnecting a channel does not delete content that has already been published to it.

Content Already Published

Content that has already been published on a channel cannot be removed by Ubiami — it must be deleted on the channel itself. Deleting your Ubiami account removes our record of the post, but the post remains on the platform it was published to until you delete it there.
